Was talking to friends last night at the bar and FINALLY met Dave Parry, I thought I met him before at a tap takeover, but I was mistaken. I have been going to Parry's since 2007, and mostly for the beer since 2013; I will get to this soon. So I used to go in and the bartender would say hi and bring water and ask if I wanted a beer and food menu. I normally was by myself and only going to try some new brews, eventually as I got to know the servers, I went from a few times a month to several times a week more to visit, so I preferred the slower times where I could chat here and there. I had a fun time and I really like craft beer so the place is great for that. Early on the wings were still frozen inside, as were the calzones, they were bad, but that has been fixed and I have not had a food complaint in about a year other then cost and limited selection. Sometimes I just want a snack or burger to go with my beer, the main reason I went. Then the staff started changing, for a short time I would get acknowledged even if the new person did not know my name, still cool. The food fills a craving, and honestly it's good, just only in a few times a year way. There are better places and less expensive places ($20+ for large chicken pie) nearby. Last night was the first time in months I started to like them again, I was greeted, given a water without asking and asked what I wanted. I asked if the bartender was done-done as there was someone new and the staff said he was fired. o' well. I sat and ended up talking with a random person at the bar about beer, they had a kill-the-keg for $1 of ok beer he thought I was crazy to order if there was something better I wanted. After he had to go I had a couple friends show and sat at the bar, we all ordered some beer. I started talking how the new bartender was doing a good job and how Parry's had really gone downhill when the last bartender cut back days for a job that actually followed through on promises to advance in a company; that's a whole review in itself but others have covered that. I mentioned how Dave was turning greedy and the staff was not happy (one of my friends had worked there) and the prices were getting extreme. Then I asked if Dave was there and the staff said yes. Going back to personal conversation, I said he should read my reviews so he knows how bad the place is going. I mention how the (what I thought) the new manager has never made eye contact and the place is cold. Then it happened, Dave, who had been eavesdropping for some time on personal conversation comes up puts out his hand and introduces himself (not who I thought Dave was). Says he wants to meet a person who is talking about him, so I say hi and he goes off. So I tell him I think the service has declined the past months and that the beer prices on some have nearly doubled and that's not a good thing. He says "my friend" implying the last bartender I liked had mismarked the taps and was stealing (this was at ALL locations for almost 2 months) so now I was done here. It went on for some time, I tried to explain every time he asked a question, but was interrupted every time, then his brother buts in and asks why I was staring at him for 2 minutes. I don't know who he was and he was sitting behind me, so I asked when was this because I don't know him. I try to explain how business works and was told to leave and not return. I said I am okay with that, he was causing the scene and got one of my friends going and was a short loud hissy-fit. Dave got our checks and said leave, and don't come back. Went as far to grab another person I never met and point and say don't let them back to all of us. They left and I finished my beer and went back to normal conversation volume with him while settling up, he still would not listen and was loud, the ego on him. Then he puts his hand on my personal property, and jumps back realizing that could have been a bad idea, I leave. Good riddance, hope you keep it up and your business fails.

We waited 10 minutes for our waiter to ask for our drinks. And that was only after the hostess tracked him down and told him we were waiting. A waitress ended up helping us when we needed waters, plates, etc. We waited 20 minutes for our check. Same waitress tracked our server down. He plopped the check down without a word. And another waitress had to bring our check back!! 2 stars as beer selection, ambiance and food are good. Our service tonight may prevent our return. FYI: Stephen was our server. And the manager had no clue this guy was giving shoddy service to his tables. Service needs major work.

I was shocked when I went back into this restaurant to find they had changed their menu. Talk about a lack of customer service! On the menu it states things like *We cannot and will not split sauces for any quantity of wings. That's just how it is, pal.* and they charge they charge $1.50 for you to share your plate with another person. We aren't talking about plates where you might get extra fries, we're talking about a calzone that only comes with sauce and salads, etc. Who doesn't like to order a salad and split it with someone when ordering a pizza???!!! And after all of that the service was in the toilet! I will not go back until changes are made!

Parrys as the worst customer service. I called to order a pizza for pickup was put on hold for 15mins they would get back on just to tell me to hold. On the 3rd time they told me to hold I told them I have been holding so they hung up on me. I will not be ordering from them anymore personally and my store will not either.

Straight up, Parry's has some bomb ass real deal NY style pizza and delicious wings. They take second to Stumpy's but have much better atmosphere and decor. The in house service is quite good. We have eaten inside the restaurant a couple times and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. We ordered once for takeout and once for delivery. Both times we ordered for takeout or delivery we were highly disappointed. When I came to pick up the order to go, I was rung up by a friendly lady and was told our pizza wasn't ready yet so have a seat at the bar which I did. I waited for about 15 minutes, no big deal but expected it sooner since I had called in the order in advance. That didn't bother me, what bothered me was that the bartender eventually had to go back into the kitchen to "check" on our order and retrieve our pizza which had obviously been sitting back there for a while because she returned immediately with an apologetic look on her face because even she could feel that it was barely warm, not hot at all. This annoyed me to be sure but whatever it's still good pizza. However, when we ordered delivery, I made the mistake of ordering their Polo Grounds Parm Bites... As a pizza joint, how do you screw up bread? Hand make some dough, bake it and finish it with some butter, garlic, and parmesan and you have a winner. Pretty easy... Throw in a side of marinara and you're golden. Well... not only did they not include any sauce but these things were just awful... Little pillows of dough dusted with parm (and I'm talking the Kraft green cylinder of processed parm here). They were so overtly dry that i took one bit and threw the entire container in the trash. When I called to inform them that they didn't include sauce with the order, the manager flat out said with no small amount of attitude, "What would you like us to do?" Since having them come out for again just to deliver a side of sauce that I can no longer use or replying with "how about remove them from your menu" were not very constructive replies, I regretfully agreed to receive a complimentary Parm Bites appetizer the next time we never visit this place again. Maybe they can deliver them to us at Stumpy's. Stumpy's is where you can get the best damn garlic knots I've had in 30 years, better pizza than in NY and a burger with certified Angus Colorado beef that will take your breath away. At least Stumpy's seems appropriately concerned with our experiences (dine-in, takeout, or delivery) as well as providing quality ingredients where everything is made in house. A novel concept I know... Parry's can suck it. I don't care how good your food is because if you can't take care of your customers, no one else will know or care how good your food is either.

Most expensive greasy pizza I have ever tried. Love the beer selection however the pizza was just way too greasy. Also, what the heck is white ketchup? Never heard of it and it just sounds gross

Love the calzones here and the very respectable beer selection on tap never disappoints! It's always changing it up with great local and abroad choices, but this place earned a 5 tonight for above and beyond service for me. The wifi was acting up and manager Marc apologizes for the inconvenience AND THE, so as not to leave me hanging when I need to update my fantasy roster on my way too small data plan, sets up HIS phone as a personal hotspot for me! Good food, great beer, and a good man steering the ship tonight.

Hmm, what can I say about this place. If you go when its slow, it may be three star. But I didnt. My wife and I went on a friday night. We were seated immediately but that was the only immediate thing that happened. We waited 20 minutes before asking a hostess if we could get some drinks. (I do have to say the hostess and manager were great once they knew we had been waiting so long) The hostess sent the waitress over and she took our drink order. Then after waiting another 10 minutes without drinks, we snagged the hostess again who was very helpful and got the manager to bring out our drinks since she was too young to serve alcohol. The manager brought our drinks and informed us that he was taking care of the meal and drinks for us. That was very nice of him, and he continually checked on us through out our dinner. I didnt have the nerve to complain about the food since it was going to be free. The pizza was lackluster at best, had minimal toppings, was greasy and overall distasteful. After this visit, I told my wife I would never go back, and I wont.

Love this place! Originally from NY and new to the area. It was awesome to find a place that has REALLY GOOD authentic NY style pizza. The beer selection is on point and every experience with the wait staff has been extremely friendly. I think I've found my new favorite pizza joint!

You are only as good as your weakest link. Unfortunately for Parry's Pizza, that weakest link is the owner Dave Parry. Dave does not care about his employees nor does he care about his customers, and this philosophy carries throughout the entire business like a poisonous gas. As far as I can tell, he is just a greedy, no good, selfish, know it all guy. To ban customers (who are regulars) in your restaurant for expressing that the customer service has gone down hill in the last few months is absurd. To do it loudly and belligerently in front of all your customers is down right stupid. Then to follow that up with accusing your employees of stealing in public, is so beyond unprofessional, I can't even begin to get into that. (What goes on with your employees should stay between you and your employees - not be announced loudly on the bar area filled with customers) just a small price of advice in case you read this. We used to go two to three times a week. Staff started quitting (and now I understand why) and the service has gone down hill. A new store manager was appointed. Considering that we go here several times a week, we have never met the guy, he has never stopped by to ask how things are. Not really a good store manager if you ask me. The food is generally good, but overpriced. The beer selection is great which is why we used to go frequently. I would not want any of my family or friends to go here. I will find a new local business to support that wants my business and will care for its customers.

All that I can say to sum this up is "mehhh" I've been really wanting to try this place out because I love pizza and it looked fun. We went there on a Friday night and I just wasn't impressed. We ordered wings- which were ok but I've had better, then I guess if you are really into beer you might like their brews but to me I'm pretty simple and just enjoy a bud light or blue moon with my pizza and they don't carry these types of standard beers. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was just ok. NOTHING special - wont be back here.

I went to Parry's for trivia night when my regular place was cancelled due to other events. We had a group of 5 and the first thing I noticed was how cramped the place was. We were seated at a booth that could only comfortably fit 2 normal-sized adults per side. Eventually (thankfully before our 5th person arrived) our waitress did bring over a chair to our table, but due to the layout of the place he was constantly moving his chair to get out of the way. As far as trivia goes, it was very hard to hear and it was only displayed on 1 TV. The game was fun but if we were to play again I'd want to sit much closer to the host. Now, the worst (and most important) part of all: food and service. As I said we had a party of 5. One of the the things we ordered was the fried mozzarella ($5.99). What came out was a basket of 3 half-moon pieces of breaded air. There was a small amount of cheese in each one but it was mostly air, at $2 per piece, I'd like something a little more substantial. Everyone's meals came out at different times and one meal (a sandwich) only came out after we REPEATEDLY reminded our waitress about it. When it finally arrived (15 minutes after everyone else was finished eating), it was so hot that my friend had trouble eating it. On the plus side, the two members of our group who got salads did say they were decent. When our bill came, not only was there no kind of effort made to reconcile the bad service, but there was actually an extra drink on our bill that nobody had ordered. Basically, there was nothing here to compel me to return.

I don't understand a bunch of these reviews... This place is great. We went to Parry's on a Wednesday night and nearly everything was perfect. The highlights, fantastic beer selection, really good food, Tim the server was on top of it! Only knock we had, one of the meals came out as an appetizer. We will certainly come back for trivia and for their great beer selection in Castle Rock. Thanks for the great experience!

Downgraded!! We love this place so it pains me to not go 4-5. Normally have stellar service. Tonight's was difficult to tough-it out while others were being served. Simply getting noticed was not happening. Complacency was happening behind the counter...5 servers chilling/hanging-out. We weren't alone, another table was going unnoticed, seemingly ignored. I decided to become an advocate for my fellow patio patrons!! We were attended to after my plea. We are faithful followers of Parry's and will be back. Hopefully they will have weeded out the lazy ones.

I called at around 8:02 to see if I could order some fried dough for pickup. I understand they closed at 8:00, so I wasn't going to be surprised when they didn't answer. However, someone did answer and when I asked if I could make an order for pickup I was extremely rudely told that they were closed and then was hung up on. I'll look for a business with better customer service to support.

Great service. Always accommodating to bug groups. Great lunch specials and the beer selection is incredible!

This place looks to have its regular locals as they all met in the bar the night we were there. Decent food but the service could have been better. Our waitress was busy socializing with the regulars. The restaurant could use a better bus boy as there were a number of tables with dirty dishes etc, left when we were there. Like I said decent food-we might go back.

Parry's cares about their customers. There was an issue with the Monday $10 large pizza deal. Parry's called me personally to take care of the issue! These days customer service is hard to find! Parry's has killer pizza and other dishes and killer customer service!!!!! If you want the best place to eat in Castle Rock... Stop at Parry's you won't regret it!!!!!

  • Chris M.

Great calzones and an amazing variety of beer if you stay there.. We normally get take out and it's always fast, they get our order right and that's really all you can ask of a pizza joint. The service can be slow if you go inside and sit on the restaurant side. We almost left the first time we went there because our waiter was completely ignoring us. The guy who was running the bar saw what was happening and invited us over to the bar side and gave us the first round of microbrews on him. We are really glad he did because the calzones were really great.

Downgraded my review. The arrogance of this place continues - first no happy hour food specials and now happy hour ends at 5. Next they will charge admission

This was our 3rd time to this location. I think I must have been mystified by the 40+ beers on tap the 1st two visits. The staff is helpful and friendly, the beer is great.... The pizza???? Is kind of a let down... It is thin and greasy, kind of like the mall food court pizza by the slice. Probably won't go back for the pizza.... Thank you for the recent response to my review. My family and I order two large pizzas; 1. Pepperoni 2. Cheese and pineapple. We honestly each had a couple slices but didn't finish. We ended up wasting both pizzas.

Awesome pizza, great beer. Have had 2 parties there just for the food. Staff maybe clueless, but they can make a good pie.

I'm with Bryan B. Ironically Rachel P and Jer P are yelp friends. This place is awesome. Don't forget we live in Castle Rock. To have a place with such great beer and food in our town, we are lucky. I certainly wish it was a bigger restaurant and occasionally the service was speedier. To call someone no good, greedy etc is moronic. Ask St Jude's Hospital if he is greedy? Dave is a great guy, dad and businessman. He is generous to our community as well. It is a bummer when you have a bad experience at a restaurant for sure but you make quite the presumption about Dave. I'll continue to eat their with my family and friends and enjoy it.

When Parry's first opened in Castle Rock, I found it a great place to grab a couple slices of pizza for a reasonable price. We tried dinner there once, where everyone in the family ordered a separate dish - but none of us were impressed. We simply decided that if we go to a pizza place, eat the pizza. No big deal. But the past few times I've been in, the pizza has gotten worse and worse. So has service. Tonight, I dropped in (Tues @ 730) and ordered two slices. I paid my $7.50 and grabbed a booth. 15-20min later, I was still waiting for the meal. When I saw a group seating after me receiving their food, I walked up to the counter. Apparently my pizza had been sitting in a take-out bag on the counter for awhile. The server opened it, passed it to me and was a little surprised when I returned the pizza because it was cold. I asked them to nuke it or whatever and returned to my seat. Another 15min and no service. Finally decided to leave. I went to the counter and asked for my seven bucks back - I'd just go somewhere else to eat. Again they found my pizza on the counter and told me they were sorry I had to wait - they made a new pie. Great - I thought, that's what I was hoping for. But that's not what I got - I got the same two slices reheated (again) and they were stiff and dry. A miserable dining experience. Not to mention the idiots I was seated next to had a kid that kept burping without them correcting the behavior. I picked everything up and moved to another seat - choked down my overcooked, lousy pie and left. For me - this was the final straw. I'm done with Parry's.

Good pizza, bad service. We had to get up and find our server to ask for a second round of beers. She then came to our table to inform us that "the bartender had already given last call" interesting that nobody came over to actually give us last call and that it was 10 minutes before closing. The whole time the employees were frantically buzzing around us doing there side work and talking about it for everyone to hear. I won't be spending anymore of my money here again. If you must go, go when they're very busy and the servers are still pretending to give a crap

  • Briar R.

Not impressed. Food took over an hour to arrive. We got a small cheese pizza, caesar, and one of the desserts. Over priced for what it was. They delivered and were the last on our list to try before confirming that we would much rather drive out and pick up from boulevard. Won't be back unless we're desperate for a delivery that offers salads.

    (2)
  • Lindsey B.

We haven't tried the pizza but the sandwiches, calzones and wings we have tried are just OK and not worth the cost. I know it's family owned but when you tell me 30-45 minutes for my delivery time and it consistently is 1-1 1/2 hours for delivery I just can't rate it well. This has happened so many times that I think tonight is the last time we will order from them.

Stopped in for a bite during a working lunch break today. Took advantage of the 2 slices + a Coca-Cola drink for 4.99, great deal! As a girl from CT/Boston with a lot of exposure to NY style pizza, Parry's was okay. Not the best, not the worst, however I can think of many other great pizza joints here in Denver that would have to rank higher. Curious to see how this location does during the dinner hours as it was very quiet during lunch between 12:30 and 1:30...

I have always loved the pizza at Parry's. Of all the New York style pizza joints in town (and surprisingly, there are several) this one is my favorite. Parry's just has the best combination of tasty crust, zesty sauce and yummy cheese for my taste. Still, we don't go out for pizza a lot, so my visits here weren't all too frequent. Until, they introduced a game changer.... BEER! Not just any old beer, but something like 40+ taps of amazing craft beers! Parry's has always had a bar, but let's face it, it was kinda sad before. Only a few taps of the big name beers were available, and every time we visited, the bar was mostly empty or not staffed. This change is a huge improvement, and brings a much needed tap house to Castle Rock. All of a sudden, this bar is hoppin' every time we visit Parry's! With this great new beer comes fun new events, like pint nights. I am a big, big fan! Expect to see a lot more of me, Parry's. Keep a bar stool ready...

Well if you skip Parry's. You won't be missing much. The good is average at best and the service is pretty terrible. The restaurant was about half full tonight but here we are an hour and twenty minutes waiting for our check.

  • Tessa A.

Their food is really good, we've had several pizzas, calzones and sandwiches. My only complaint is the prices. For what you get it's really overpriced. A large pizza costs right around $20 and you're lucky if each slice of pizza has 3 pepperonis on it. They are very very stingy with their toppings. You can get more meat and veggies at pretty much any chain pizza place. Same with the calzones and sandwiches, they taste great but for the price you would assume they would come with a lot more "stuffing". But if you're okay paying a little extra you can't go wrong here, I've yet to find anything I don't like on the menu.

Parry's Lost 2 Stars in my book. I wonder if perhaps they have a new manager, or some other changes, or perhaps it was just a bad night for the crew, but Parry's service has gone significantly downhill. They had the "seat yourself" sign out, which seemed like a good sign, but then we noticed that of the 6 or 8 tables that were open, only about half had actually been "bussed". We found on that had no trash on it, and sat down. Two waitpersons walked by us several times and after about 5 minutes sitting there a waiter stopped and asked what we'd like to drink. I asked about the beer selections - which used to be numerous - and the waiter pointed at a plastic coated card on the napkin stand and grumbled, "Those are the selections for the month." I made a quick choice of a beer and my wife ordered a cola. A Coke and a beer wouldn't seem to be difficult to me. The coke came immediately (we were sitting practically next to the machine.) After almost 10 more minutes, I had just told my wife we were going to just pay for her coke and leave, the waiter came back and said my beer was on the way and asked what we'd like to order. I responded that it would be helpful to have menus, so he grudgingly got us two. He came back an a couple of minutes and when we placed our order (for something we'd had several other times), he was puzzled and said, "I don't think we can do that." SO- they lost 1 star for service. The Pizza was also below par - way below par - when it finally came. It wasn't really hot, the toppings were sparse - compared to previous visits - and it was generally blah. Minus one more star. I'll give Parry's in C.R. ONE more try, maybe last night was a fluke, but they're no longer on my list of Castle Rock favorites.

Came in at 6:45 pm on a Wed. Place was full and sign said seat yourself. Lame. Shouldn't have to fend for myself to get a table. Once a table finally opened, waited again for somebody to bus it. Again, lame. Spend the extra $8/hr and spring for a hostess. Oh yeah, and let me get different sauces on a single wing order from the kitchen..

Just found out that the best bartender, server and customer relations person at Parrys was fired. He was the main reason many of showed up every Friday. Always on top of things, remembered your favorite beers and a great personality to be around in the restaurant setting. Parry's will be missing the business of many people who were there on Fridays. It's only $$$. Also, the wait staff changes so frequently that the service is very poor. Parry's needs to look at its management style and completely revise it. Why is I can go to other eating establishments in the area and find wait staff that has been there a long time? SORRY PARRYS but you just lost a good crowd of loyal followers, Mark Crandel made you successful, but no more.

They do have a ton of beer on tap now which is great....but no good happy hour and the pints are pretty expensive at $5 at least...would love to see a happy hour here. And they close at 9 PM!!!!

Moved to Castle Rock recently and have been trying different pizza options. Parry's has been eliminated! Ordered a delivered pizza a few weeks ago and half of the toppings were all wrong. Ordered it with mushroom & added pepperoni and hamburger to 1/2. They added spicy Italian sausage to the whole pizza (which we didn't want) and no hamburger. This evening we tried one delivery more time because we liked the thin crust. Supposed to be here in 45-60 minutes but took well over an hour. It was cold upon arrival and the crust was soggy - not impressed. Going elsewhere next time!!

Sometime in the past 7 months or so, Parry's left a menu on my front door, right next to the "No Soliciting" sign. And now I'm really glad they did. Tonight I was really not in the mood to cook. Or to leave the house. Or even in the mood to put on a bra. But I didn't want the same old (and limited) delivery options Castle Rock has to offer. Then I remembered the menu I'd pinned to the fridge. Looked good. I got on Yelp and was a little surprised to see some of the reviews given what I saw on the menu. At any rate, with my husband working tonight and my two year old staring at me with the hungry look (I'm fairly certain he learned this from the dog) I went ahead and called and placed an order for delivery. A medium build your own with garlic sauce, mushroom, black olive and onion. And a ten piece regular garlic wing order. (Figured when husband gets home he'll enjoy some left overs). $26 and some change. Reasonable. The person on the other end of the phone (Steve? Was that it?) was incredibly pleasant, order was taken quickly and he quoted me 30-45 minutes. 25 minutes later, the delivery driver had found my not so easy to find house. He was also polite and genuine. The food? HOLY COW. It's been a while since I've had a pie I enjoyed this much. I'm a NY style pizza fan, and this was right up my alley. So tasty. The right amount of cheese, with just enough toppings for NY style crust to handle. And the wings? Oh the wings. I'm a wing snob, and these are right up there with the best I've had. By far the best garlic rendition I've ever had. They were meaty, juicy and resting gloriously in a garlic and herb butter bath. My only complaint would be the three rather dry carrot sticks that came with a blue cheese that made me wrinkle my nose. Who cares! Putting any kind of dressing on those wings would have been a travesty. The thing about pizza is that it's a totally subjective food. Probably THE most subjective food, now that I think about it. What you like has a lot to do with what you were raised with, how you feel about crust and how adventurous you are. NY style doesn't appeal to everyone, and that's ok. Leaves more for us that do. For myself, I'm done giving almost the same amount of money to the corporate chains for something less than stellar now that I know I've got better options in Castle Rock. Is it a bit more expensive? A little bit. Not a lot. But I'd rather give those few extra bucks to a local business going above and beyond. I look forward to dining in some time to partake in the huge selection of beers on tap. Now I've got to run. Need to go hide those left overs in the fridge where no one else can find them. I've rethought the sharing idea. One last thing, Parry's... I was going to ask the delivery driver but totally forgot. What in the world is "white ketchup"? Is it like Halal? Google turned up nothing believe it or not. Thanks for making my lazy night!!!

Loved this place. We ended up getting wings and a pizza. The wings were really good. Probably the best wings I've had since moving out here. The pizza was a good size and was pretty good also. All for a decent price!

Great pizza, good family atmosphere, and very good wings. If you're a NY transplant, the NY sports teams plastered all over the walls will make you feel at home. We have relatives that live on Long Island and they say Parry's NY pizza passes the challenge. Everyone in our family is a big fan of Parry's for take out or dine-in.

The real deal. Finally found some good wings south of Denver. Lactose and gluten intolerant but cowboy'd up for the Snowbird Pizza. Wow. Worth the hangover. Definitely out of the box. Cool spot too.

Wanna escape the suburban hell you just moved into? Upset to learn that Castle Rock is a festering sore of low-budget chains with classy facades? Do you want something that isn't either deep fried or simply gross? And do you want it all without having to pay the exorbitant prices of the fancy (but tasty) restaurants on the south end of town? Well then, friends, it's time to take a trip to Parry's. It's a lot like going over to your bro's (or best ho's) place on a Sunday afternoon to watch the game. You get some satisfying food, you quench your beerthirst, and it's all chill and you can pay for it all with the spare change you didn't drop in the offering plate at service. Parry's, man, it's for real. If we're talking food, Parry's is a great joint for the Castle Rock area. As I mentioned earlier, most of Castle Rock's food offerings are either classy Red Robins (yuck) or higher-priced sit-down restaurants. That sweet spot of casual dining at reasonable prices is almost totally missed in CR with a few exceptions, and Parry's does a great job in that niche. The pizzas are tasty and everything you'd expect from an New York-style thin crust. It's fresh ingredients for their veggie offerings, a crispy but not too hard crust, and plenty of cheese and meat for when you're feeling wild. I wouldn't call it the best thin crust I've ever had, but hey, you don't order gourmet thin crust when you're watching the game at Mike's (or Betty's) house anyways. It satisfies that itch for pizza and is objectively good and for that reason the food gets a solid pass. But don't be fooled into thinking that Parry's is just pizza. Just like how Sunday football is secretly about drinking during the day, Parry's recently upgraded their bar to have a great set of taps. Forty to be precise and they're actually great taps. Tons of local craft brews are available, but it's not just the standards like BreckBrew's Avalanche, many of the taps are local breweries' "unusual" offerings, with several barrel-aged or simply uncommon styles. Finally we can escape the Rockyard's oh-so-mediocre beers, the overpriced pulls of Old Stone Church and the insanely overpriced Belgians at the Crow Bar. Pay attention people, Sunday afternoon football is offering craft beer now and with that comes a home for serious beer enthusiasts in Castle Rock, and that home is Parry's. Service? Yes, absolutely. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and patient. It's primarily counter service so it's not like this is a service-centric joint, but no complaints. Food comes out fast and hot and there are no quality issues. The facility is very clean and the walls are plastered with New York-related sports memorabilia, which actually makes me want to vomit, but that would be rude so if I feel that coming on hopefully it's after I've been drinking for a while and I can blame it on the more socially-accepted cause of over-boozing. And the prices are great. The pizzas will shock you on how cheap they are for how good they taste. The beer prices are average, but for the beers you're getting you actually get a fair price instead of getting screwed like craft beer is a rarity in Colorado. And location? Very nice--it's just off I-25 and as such quickly accessible for anywhere in CR or for passer-throughs. Did I mention Parry's lunch special? Oh yeah, two slices and a drink for $5. I challenge anywhere in Castle Rock to beat that value. Basically I give a complete recommendation for Parry's Pizza in Castle Rock. It's a welcome relief to have a great place to get beer and pizza in a mostly colorless and gray land of massive chains and big box stores. Yes, yes Parry's is a chain too, but it's done right in that it doesn't feel like one. Parry's is where I'm going to go to watch football, it's where I'm going to go when I have company that craves pizza and/or beer, and it's where I'll be in about ten minutes because this review has made me crave some beer and Parry's Pizza!

So far I've only had delivery but the Pizza is the best I've been able to find here in CO. I get the Soho Veggie and add sausage to half. I also tried the dessert Pizza at a party and it was really good too. Yum!

Great pizza. Parrys combo is the best one on the menu. The staff is often in a hurry & there Is no shortage of screaming children so sit in the bar area. These guys have a great crust !

Best pizza in Castle Rock, and they deliver too. Garlic bread is quality as well. The service can be a little lacking sometimes, but the quality of food makes up for it.

Parry's is a nice, clean place. I've had the pizza for lunch and it is good, not great. But recently I took the family there for supper and ordered the baked ziti. It was great! My wife had the meatball sandwich and again...great. Their marinara sauce is outstanding. Review: the entrees are better than the pizza and the decor and feel of the place is nice.

Awesome Pizza and I'm an east coast pizza snob. Best pizza I've had in a long time. Great service. Great location. Great food

...wow $20 bucks for a small pizza and 2 drinks...I feel cheated. The toppings were blah..right out of a box and the sauce was right out of the can. Crust was ok. But it didn't make up for the rest of the pie...I'm not coming back. If I were you I wouldn't bother stopping in. Unless you like paying too much for crummy pizza.

The waitress was very nice. I ordered the pizza slice deal. It was a very good price and the pizza was good too.

This place must have done something right in its youth or childhood to be able to open a second location. This pizza joint sprang up not long after Boulevard Pizza opened their doors. My friends and I asked each other, "How many pizza places can a small vicinity maintain?" Parry's has a lot of competition, as they go head-to-head-to-head-to-head with the heavily-entrenched Stumpy's AND a Little Caesar's on top of Blvd. The fight must be very well-balanced betwixt the four. They've got a sports-bar kinda thing going on, which seems to work for them as I work nearby and see plenty of cars there during football season. Another attraction this place has is that a ton of classic and exotic cars visit on the weekends during the summer. Or just when it's nice out. (Thanks, Colorado.) As far as the food goes, Parry's isn't crazy good, but it really isn't awful. A lot of people whine about the prices, but when I order a large pepperoni for delivery, a Jackson covers it and gives a decent tip to the delivery guy. The few times I've eaten in the restaurant have been full of watching the Sportscenter and New York-centric sports that's on the many flatpanel TVs, it could make for a good hangout during championship tourneys (even the FIFA World Cup!) I'd suggest to take your crew here after a fun day adventuring across our great state. Just don't expect to be blown away.

So far it's one of my top 3 favorites in Denver with a sweet smokey flavor... This sauce is the best around with it's thick tomato paste flavor. The cheese is very much like papa johns-which I do enjoy! The atmosphere is fun with tall booths and new York oriented decor to cover almost every square inch of wall. If in the area I'd choose Parry's over nearby "Boulevard pizza" my hubby would say the opposite.

So an update: Tonight I ordered from Parry's again because, as I said, their food is good! I was surprised that they had issued a credit equal to the cost of the sandwich. Not necessary, but appreciated. Thank you, Parry's Pizza!

App and dessert were good. Pizza was okay- had a lot of spice (maybe oregano) on top.

We love it! Their sauce is awesome, great pizza and calzones. Service is pretty good too. My fiance loves their sandwiches. My opinion, best pizza in Castle Rock and we've tried it all.

Unfortunately, this pizza cannot compare to the pizza of Philadelphia or NYC. We ordered 3 18" pies, with various toppings. Total bill approx $60. Perhaps if you never had pizza from the east, you may think the pizza is good. Pizza was very dried and almost seemed stale. Lombardi's, South Street Pizza, Carmine's, Mama Lucia's....we would love to have you in Castle Rock!

I gave it 5 stars because it delivers on what it's trying to be. As good as it gets in Castle Rock for ample microbrews, wings, pizza and really anything I've had there. Great service from the staff. A solid alternative to the Fowl Line down the road, but because Parry's is tucked away, it's more relaxed. Their ever-changing lineup of Colorado microbrews really distinguishes them from their competitors the most.

POOR SERVICE! Decent beer, too bad the servers don't have a clue.

Restaurant was clean upon arriving. Wait staff was quick to get our party seated, and drink orders were handled promptly. Reasonable priced beer with a somewhat diverse selection. Had a few beers on the menu that they were out of. Food was quick, and everything we had was good. Pizza was good and the size feeds about three. Friendly wait staff.

Great place! Beer selection is always changing and they have tap takeovers from different breweries a lot. Ask about the featured beers of the month they are only $3! Oh yeah, join the Ale Yeah club too. Pizza is a nice thin crust. I always have a hard time figuring out which one I want. I do wish they had more size selections. They need a small but I don't mind leftovers. Some other menu favorites are the wings, fried pickles, green beans...can I just say everything is good and It all deserves a mention? Looks like I just did... The staff is very friendly and the food comes out fast. This place just gets it. I'll be back!

Not the best I've had in Denver, but it beats my favorite pizza in Portland. It's barely a notch above Escape From New York Pizza on 23rd downtown. If I were in the area, I'd go with boulevard over parrys- but it's definitely serviceable. If someone was jonesin for parry's, I'd give in.

Simply the worst treatment ever! I called in and spoke to Dick (perfect name) at 5:42pm, 12-26 and asked if they were delivering tonight. I was told yes, but they had a 90 minute wait; no problem. I told him I would call right back after I figured out what my kids wanted. Called back at 5:51, and Dick tells me that they are not delivering tonight, as they are too busy. This was my second (and FINAL) bad service experience there. The first being when I went in at 2pm for a single slice of cheese pizza to-go, and had to wait 25 minutes for them to heat up an already cooked piece...this place sucks and I recommend that NO ONE EVER goes there if they care ANYTHING about service. Castle Rock is filled with great pizza joints (Niccollo's, Anthony's, Boulevard, Etc.), and this is NOT ONE OF THEM!!!

The staff here is always friendly, so that just adds to the pizza...which is quite good. This place is always busy, but they always have fast service and good food. The Parry's Combo is highly recommended.

Tried this place once. Love it! Pizza is really tasty; better than the big pizza chains. Lots of beers on tap. This is what all neighborhood pizza joints should be. Good pizza: yep. Delivery: absolutely. 3 dollar beer specials: you betcha!

Had a tonne of pizza all over the world. This is one of the top ones I have had. Good delivery.

Parry's Pizza is the best pizza in Castle Rock! The wings are great too! I haven't had a chance to sit at the bar but I try a new beer every time I go to Parry's. It's nice to have many premium draft beers on tap. I'll continue to take my business to Parry's.

Ahhh Its OK. It passes. Its SO So ya know what I mean. Its NY thin crust and all that but I've had better. The price is right. Monday - Saturday at lunch you can get 2 slices and a drink for $5. It does take more than a few NY minutes to get your food. The place is nice, decked with NY pictures and posters but they play the most un-New York style of music, COUNTRY MUSIC. Get A ROPE!!! Borriello Brothers Pizza in CO Springs is much much better.

I would of given this a better review, but after spending $200 night out with by family at a pizza place, they try and nickel and dime me by charging for ranch dressing. What a joke to charge for a condiment. Their explanation was any extra they would charge for. My wife and I like blue cheese for wings my kids like ranch. At Parry's that will cost you extra. Parry's is a chain restaurant that has a business plan to make money on ranch dressing, what a joke.

I really like the pizza and my husband Loves the wings. It's a bit pricey and that's why I didn't give 5 stars, but good food costs more right?!?

I have had a few good lunches here. They have a competitive lunch deal with a slice of pizza and a soda. They warm up a slice which is fine but not amazing. Pretty tasty eats and comfortable decor. A-OK says it all.
